Places Prayers Go To || Dialogue

Outer: I often pray, but I get no results.

Inner: What do you pray for?

Outer: Good health, money, success, the well-being of my loved ones, and so on. Different things.

Inner: The Universe cannot suddenly change its ways to accommodate us and our wishes. There is a long waiting line for such specific requests. The world needs time to transform according to your needs and pleas.

Outer: So you are saying that if I pray, I should not give up, and my wishes will come true?

Inner: Exactly! All the prayers your grandmother, father, aunt, sister, and so on ever said in the name of your well-being came true or had some effect. All the times you asked for good fortune, good fortune came. But we are not that smart to know what exactly to ask from the Universe, what is best for us.

Outer: Is it sometimes better not to pray, so we wouldn’t accidentally ask for the wrong thing?

Inner: There are clusters of ideas all around us, we can’t see them, but they affect the way the world moves. They wander through the collective unconscious in their pure form of emotions and yet unformed thoughts. Whether we pray or just have a whimsical wish, we reach into these clusters. Love, courage, abundance, vitality; everything is there, everything, and much more. Many souls in this world try to reach them and get what they desire, but as I said, the line is long. Sometimes a specific prayer will affect the world immediately if there is an opening meant for us. But more often than not, we are simply on a waiting list. As I’m sure you know, that can be very frustrating.

Outer: Is there a way to avoid waiting in line?

Inner: There is. Pray without expectations, for whatever you are given. If you do so, you will always be rich. The Universe will give you all kinds of experiences, wisdom, and love. When we are praying to get what is best for us with a promise to accept it, we are drawing power from the clusters that are currently available. That way we are getting the most, by surrendering.

Outer: But doesn’t that mean I wouldn’t have any control over my life, that I’m leaving everything in the hands of chance?

Inner: When you are driven by empty desires you have no control over your life. They dictate where you are going, and who you will be. We are one with the Universe, only when living accordingly, can we achieve true freedom. When we let experiences gently come into our lives we are navigating towards our higher self, and away from the squeezing walls of life.

Outer: I’m afraid I will become someone I don’t like if I think that way if I just let go.

Inner: When you surrender, you don’t give up control, you gain it. The soul needs to feel at peace with the world, it needs to welcome life. Follow your dreams, and pray for what matters to us as well. But without the fundamental prayer of surrender, and the ability to recognize what the Universe is whispering to you, your daily life will be hard and not as fruitful. And remember, prayers are not for the idle, despite what some people think.
